All Soaped Out

Whew! I am all out of space to store soaps to cure. So I guess you could say that I am soaped out. I just unmolded 6 new batches last night. With no more curing space I guess that is it until these finish up and are stored. I think this may well have been my biggest soaping marathon to date. 15 new batches are now curing.

I will finish up taking pictures and get them posted...

Yesterday 5 more batches were finished up. That knocks my soaping down some more. I will be totally restocked and have some new scents as well available soon.

I have no pictures yet because it is all still in the mold. I will probably start unmolding in just bit and start new batches. I will post pictures as soon as I can.

I KNOW you're gonna want to kill me, but I need some new molds and I can never remember what size the 2 bigger ones I bought from you were. I think they're 4 lb. molds, but I stuff 5 lbs. of soap in them.

2 New Soap Batches

I unmolded the 2 batches I made last night and I am so happy with them. I didn't really know what to expect, but they turned out better than I ever thought that they would. I will take pictures and post them.

I have so much to do, BUT, I am glad I have plans. I got kinda stale in 2007. I need to spice things up a bit.

I have a ton of soap to make. I am going to start a couple of batches a day until I get it all finished. I will be opening a new website soon dedicated solely to soap. There will most likely be some soap displays on it as well.

Then I have to get enough stock made up to "stock" 2 booth rentals. This is new thing for me. I don't know if it will...

Soap that loses it scent

What do you with the soap that has sit awhile and lost its scent? I have a few that have not been really hot sellers for me and they have lost their scent completely, or at least pretty much.

What I am thinking about doing is crating it up and adding it for texture and color to other batches of soap. Since it has lost its smell, it shouldn't be a problem with any other scent...

New Years Resolutions

What are some of your new years resolutions?

As you can see by the posticon for this thread, one of mine is to get my flabby butt unflabby and get my heart is strong condition. As that will take up most of my time I don't think I will have time for any other resolutions. LOL

Carol, you use EO's in your soaps right? As silly as this may sound I have not ever used an EO, only FO's. So can tell me what is a good amount to use per pound of soap?

And I don't know how to redo the board. I just chose this theme from the ones that Yuku is offering. It took away our banners. I don't know how to get them back. I will just have to find time to figure it all out.

I can't figure out how to redo the emoticons or the posticons. I still can't get my siggy right.

I don't know why this has to be so much harder than the ezboard method. I can't find a thing on yuku, so how can I work on it ?

I will finally get my new printer! I have been impatiently waiting. DH let me order it for Christmas, but the girls said I couldn't have it early as I always made them wait. Pay backs are heck! Soon I will be able to print great pics once again.

Okay, I hate this. I just made a post and hit "post" and everything I typed disappeared. The smilies that I tried to insert would insert where I wanted them too. They insisted on inserting themselves at the very first of my post instead of the last of it. Then when I tried to remove them my post disappeared. If it disappears this time I am going to be totally ticked.

My siggy does not show either. I know that in time I will probably like yuku more than ezboard but...
